aesthetic treatments

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport are used to temporarily relax the targeted muscles they are injected into.  By relaxing these muscles, we are able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Neuromodulators work by blocking the nerve signals that trigger muscle contractions, which allows the skin to smooth out and look more youthful. The effects of neuromodulators typically last for 3 to 4 months and can be repeated to maintain the desired results. Common areas of treatment include forehead lines, glabellar complex or "11's", and crow's feet. Other uses include injections into the masseter muscles for TMJ or jaw pain relief, into the axilla for hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), and platysmas bands in the neck for a non-surgical neck lift.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment used to enhance the appearance of the skin by reducing wrinkles and fine lines, restoring lost volume, and improving the overall texture and contour of the face. These fillers are usually made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, and are injected into specific areas to plump up the skin,  smooth out wrinkles, and restore structure. Dermal fillers can be used to add volume to the lips, cheeks, chin, and jawline,  as well as to fill in deep facial lines and wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Results last anywhere between 9 to 18 months depending on type of filler selected.

Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a therapeutic treatment that utilizes the growth factors found in a patient's own blood to promote healing and tissue regeneration. The treatment involves collecting a sample of the patient's blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then re-injecting it into the area of injury or damage. PRP is used in the field of aesthetics for skin rejuvenation and facial rejuvenation. In these procedures, PRP is injected into the skin to promote collagen production, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the overall appearance of the skin. The growth factors in PRP stimulate the production of new skin cells, improve skin texture and tone, and increase skin elasticity. PRP can also be injected into the scalp to help restore hair loss.
